30 Minute Appliance Repair, Warning
 

I utilized this company to repair my washer. Mr Spano recommended replacing the drain pump, $250.00 for new pump & $100.00 to install. Upon completion washer still didn’t work. Mr Spano then said he would pay to replace the washer control board, because he failed to check it. Several days later no control board replaced & he recommended replacing the washer.
He’s relocated to this area from Myrtle Beach & appears to work The Villages area.
I support small business but I got burned by this one, warn your neighbors, don’t make the same mistake I did.

If you have not already done so, report to BBB. Logging the issue to a National database will help to educate others and -- hopefully -- minimize future risks to others.

This is why God created credit cards.

Why do business with a company located 470 miles away. There are plenty of good appliance repair companies in The Villages area.

Becks Appliance (Dave) and Bob's Appliance are two that I can suggest.

I agree. I use a credit card even if I need to pay a fee. Peace of mind. You have 60+ days to dispute the charge.

Retraction made on 30 min Appliance Repair
 

A month ago I posted my frustrations with Peter Spano of 30 minute Appliance Repair on my Nextdoor Neighbor site. Within 24hrs of posting it I pulled it down off of the site realizing that in all fairness I needed to get the whole story before expressing my opinions. Somehow my post from that site made it to this site even though it was pulled down. So, let me just clarify….Peter made good on my refund and even installed my new dishwasher at a very reasonable price. So to whom it may concern - please have that warning taken down from your site please. So, the morale of the story - dont express your feelings on social media when you are frustrated and may not know the while story behind the scenes. I wont make that mistake again!!!
