All the new homes should have garage door openers already.

NOT necessarily! Ours came stripped down (and the price was right too) so we could justify installing our own at a greater reduced cost as well. It's been a couple of years now...so can't remember the names of the people we used for blinds. We're permenant so we're doing our own yard-work. But ask your neighbors who they'd recommend. We purchased some items (ie. garage door opener, added cupboards and more) before we moved down as we had sources that were less expensive than Home Depot and Lowe's.

First, congrats! Remember to have some fun while you move in and get settled. (Sign up for winter leagues is January 4-8; pickleball 1/5-7 only.)

You should already have garage door opener installed. If you don't, I highly recommend Alan Byers for electrical, minor cabinetry, etc. He reallys does nice work at reasonable prices. I know he's installed under cabinet lights, tiled backsplash, built a cabinet for a small fridge in the lanai, attic stairs and other miscellaneous work.

Sorry, no help on window treatments but I'm sure someone will come along with advice on that.

Recommend Ro-Mac Lumber for your garage door work; they adjusted ours last spring and charged $49.95; so they appear to be competitive.

For blinds, check out 48 Hour Blinds in Wildwood. Limited choices, but you will get blinds that are at least as good as the blinds that The Villages puts in, and it will be in two days. I used them for a rental house and they did a great job. 352-330-7310.
