My Dad was a leap year baby. He was born 100 years ago today. Or, 25 leap years ago. The home town paper used to write up a small article about him every leap year since he was born there and lived his entire life there.

I remember how he liked to tell everyone how he and his granddaughter were both 18 that particular year.

He is gone now some 10 years but I still think about him every day. He was a great Dad.

My cousins (twins) were leap year babies, so I got two for one :)

Worked with four leap babies, we had a great party for them every 4 years
