Folks Interested in Discussing and Learning about Macroeconomics

I am a self-educated economist with an engineering degree and would like to find others who are interested in discussing the macroeconomics. Would appreciate any response.

I was an economics major for undergraduate and might be interested. Tell me more about what you are thinking of.

We are the same. On top of it, I taught Macroeconomics as an adjunct professor for 14 years. I am still a year from moving to TV, but what are your thoughts?

Timrti 03-24-2024 04:55 PM

Macroeconomics

My primary interest is the business cycle and its causes. I have studied Austrian School, Friedman and Keynesian theories. A key tool is the Solow/Swan Model.
Still interested?

Timrti 03-24-2024 04:59 PM

Main interest is causes and solutions to business cycles. Background in Austrian, Friedman monetary and Keynesian theories is highly desirable.

Why isn't this topic taking over TOTV like favorite pizza?

Hi sent you a text. Stu

A discussion of macroeconomics is interesting to me, but I think the problems we have are based in the monetary system. Austrian school economics makes sense to me. Keynesian economics seems to be an excuse for central control of the economy.
