Adopt a Highway
 

I was in the Villages for the month of March and toward the end of my stay I noticed at the end of Meggison road where it ends into CR 470 was being overrun with yard signage (for pool services, yard mowing, etc) to the point I thought it looked like a trash dump. I contacted Lake County Road Operations Division (352) 787-0074 and it was taken care of the next day. I did not get a before picture but did get one afterwards. The election signs should be allowed per zoning but I have not checked. I just bring this up should it become an issue this summer and you’re wondering who to contact, etc for this or any other nuisance yard sign in the Lake county area (like we buy records, LOL).

If a person's allegiance to whatever cause or person can be swayed by a sign (or t-shirt, or flag, or bumper sticker, or...), then it must be pretty shallow in the first place.
