Medical care coordinator in the villages?
 

A Villages resident (my parent) in their 80’s hospitalized for a few days with sepsis. Trying to help remotely but can’t get there for a few days. Are there any companies or individuals with a medical background in the area that we can hire to help coordinate care? Specifically be at the hospital a few hours a day, interface with the patient and the medical staff, advise us, etc. Retired nurse, doctor, etc?

The hospitals have patient care advocates which is what I think you are after, call the hospital and ask for the patient advocate, and discuss what your concerns are, hope this helps.
