Caring Transitions
 

We are snowbirds who plan to sell our TV home shortly. Because of medical issues, we will need help sorting and disposing of stuff. Has anyone used a company called Caring Transitions? Do you know of a company that helps with relocation? Thanks.

I am a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. We have a relocation department, as well as a relocation service. I have never used caring, transitions, but I have used an online auction, as well as an estate sale and other options which were very effective. I would think your Realtor should be able to give you good options, but if you dont have one, feel free to reach out for more information..

I used a similar company to move a relative from independent living to assisted-living… In the same complex. They were wonderful. They sorted out things to give away, keep for her move and sell. It worked out so well for us. Good luck.

Caring Transitions
 

I used Caring Transitions 3 years ago when I moved from my 5,000 square foot house to 2200 sq ft house in Ocala FL. They were beyond awesome. From organizing, bundling the items you want to sell, to placing items on their online auction, to collecting money for items sold to arranging the pickup on bought items (buyers were given an appointment and and all items had to be picked up on one day). Any items that did not sell, Caring then held a garage sale. If those items did not sell, Caring took them to Good Will. I will use them again if the time comes.
