Last year there was a 2-3 year wait list.

I've been on the "list" for 2 years and still waiting for the call from TV. They actually told me when I originally called that it would probably be a waste of my time.

There is covered storage behind Lazy Dayz RV dealership on Route 44 in Wildwood, with 30 amp power for air conditioning running whenever the thermostat stays so. .

Ours is there as well. Secure Covered Storage is the name.

Was also told that there are people on that list who no longer need the storage but have not taken their name off of the list.

We had ours in Harvey's on 441 near Belleview when we first moved here. A little out of the way but good price and secure with an on-site attendant who pulls security.

We used Wildwood RV Village on 44 near 75. It's just an open field, but if secure and covered aren't required it was just $75 a month. Been a couple of years, but it's probably still cheap.

Do yourself a BIG favor and get a covered space. I made the mistake of leaving our fifth wheel exposed and the decals and tires went to hell in short order. You'll pay double for storage, but it'll save $$$ in the long run. Florida sun is brutal.

Plenty of storage options around depending on what village you live in, covered, open, indoor, etc.. The Villages actual storage has a long wait list, I got on it last year in April and have not received a notice of availability yet. I like on solid ground in Coleman if you are in the fenney area

RV Storage lots in The Villages
 

The Villages has 2 RV storage lots that are secure & paved. Our spot is level. The lots aren't covered & there are no utilities available for RV's, such as electrical outlets. There is a waiting list. We found it to cost about half of what the private storage lots charge. There are many private storage lots just outside of The Villages. Those will also have some amenities available such as utilities, dump station, & some covered spots. Most are not paved.

We store at On Solid Ground in Coleman. Wonderful new facility with covered and uncovered spaces, covered spaces have power. They have a dump, two wash stations, are fully covered with camera monitoring and surrounded by a 7000 volt electrified fence, prices more reasonable than most.
