Scottie Scheffler arrested.

Scheffler was arrested and charged after he allegedly failed to follow police orders as he was about to enter Valhalla Golf Course in Louisville, Kentucky, for the second round of the tournament.

Scheffler was booked into the Louisville Department of Corrections later Friday. He was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer (a felony), criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding signals from an officer directing traffic.

However, I just read that he was released in time to make his T Time.

Jeff Darlington of ESPN witnessed the entire episode and posted this video on X, early this morning.

Along with Scottie getting arrested, it was reported that Cam Young & Will Zalatoris, had to walk a mile in the rain, to get to golf course.

Scottie just raised his X factor a bit and will probably be in for a bigger slice of the PIP money next year.

Agree, $hit happens in the heat of the moment. Hopefully cooler heads prevail and they work out a deal.

Wonder who was really at fault?

I am inclined to side with Scheffler based on my own experience. I had a similar event, but not nearly as sad. I had one cop ahead of me shouting to stop and a cop behind me banging on my car to get moving. Rolled down my window to shout at the cop behind me his colleage was saying stop. For a moment I thought I was going to get punched.

Most likely not a flight risk.

Actually it was the incarnation of Barney Fife. Heard he actually put the bullet in his gun to protect himself against that horrible criminal…..

How can you side with either side without knowing all the facts?

Taking sides based on your personal experience or even something you heard about is called prejudice.
