Charges Dropped against Scheffler!
 

I was expecting something like this outcome after the circumstances were first described. I’ve been in a situation, myself, where two different officials gave me different instructions at the same time.

Being a retired LEO, I knew that was going to happen from day 1; something just wasn’t right with the “Detective’s” (who was working traffic) statements, subsequent videos and the failure to turn his body cam on.

Well, I didn’t get arrested.

Not surprised, the whole thing seemed fishy from the beginning and was way out of character.

Mr. Mills grabbed hold of Scheffler's car, so MILLS CAUSED the car to drag him. There was no immediate emergency, so his actions were not only inappropriate, he violated his training and took an unnecessary and dangerous risk for what appears to be "emotional reasons" . . . Mills must have perceived that Scheffler didn't follow his instructions, notwithstanding that Scheffler was following the instructions given to him by another officer. The instructions given to him by the other officer were recorded by that officer's bodycam, yet Detective Mills' body cam was turned off, which is a violation of department policy (for which Mills has been reprimanded). BTW, what is a DETECTIVE doing working traffic duty???

Willis: "A felony"

Scheffler: "Holy sh**. ... What does a felony mean? ... It sounds serious."

Willis: "It's a very serious charge."

Willis: "I didn't know you were the No. 1 in the world right now. ... You too casual to be the No. 1 player in the world."

Scheffler: "I think that's why they're so surprised I'm sitting here in the freakin' jail.

Willis: "You should have had a driver."

Scheffler: "Instead, I'm the one with the felony."
