Rocketman Show at the Savannah Center
 

Scotsman Rus Anderson as Elton John in The Rocketman Show is, hands down, the absolute best show I have ever seen a the Savannah Center. This man is one hellova pianist and he had that place rocking. He received a few very well deserved standing ovations during the show. His back up musicians are top notch too. Amazing show!

My wife and I saw it Wednesday afternoon. She hit me with buying the tickets that morning. I was like ok, I Iike Elton John.
Well it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. I have seen plenty.
Look forward to seeing them again when they come around.

We saw the evening performance. The crowd was so enthusiastic, it was exhilarating. I've never experienced that at any other concert in the Savannah Center.

It was a fun show and the guitarist was amazing. Heck, they all were. Anderson's piano work was fabulous. The only thing that would improve it would be if he could do a decent falsetto. I didn't realize until the show how many Elton John tunes wind up in the soprano register, until I watched a great performer attempt to match Elton John doing it on "Yellow Brick Road". I bet at 77, Elton can't do anymore, either.

Just wondering.....anyone who saw the show; do you think Rus Anderson travels with that green sparkly piano? Looks like that is the same piano he uses in all his shows by looking at photos on his website. I think there was just one photo of a black piano; all others were the green piano.
