One side of the screen is smooth; one side has the screen....should the smooth go on the inside?

“ Florida Glass by Phifer is the preferred option for screen contractors for privacy screen options. The material is a laminated fiber glass screen with a vinyl overlay that makes it waterproof.”

I would contact the manufacturer to see what they recommend.

I found that question and answers on Amazon...the answer was 50/50...1/2 said on the inside; 1/2 on the outside.

We are installing on the bottom part of our lanai.

How does Florida Glass hold up under windy conditions? It definitely will provide good privacy.

So it lets light through—it is translucent—but it is not transparent like glass, so it offers privacy. But it does NOT offer VENTILATION. No breeze. Sounds like a useful product, but only if that fits your needs. Another option with less privacy is sun-blocking shade screen that is much harder to see through if it is light outside and darker inside. But from the inside you can still see through it.

They say that the vinyl makes it waterproof so u would guess that the vinyl would be on the outside(??). Then again is the vinyl glossy or matt(??). Bottom line: I’m absolutely no help to you. Follow Tonker’s advice and call the mfg
