Golf Cart Tunnels Under 466A
 

Question, I believe there is is only one tunnel under 466A, are more being planned when building starts south of 466A?

I am aware of two right now, one at the Morse end and one by Buena Vista.

Three - Morse, Buena Vista, Belvedere.

There's already a tunnel there unless someone driving a truck through it has blocked it up. Have seen some smaller cars get through it on some nights.

Sorry mac9...Belvedere starts or ends at 466 and does not cross it.

Theoretically you're right but it does run parallel to Belvedere/cr 102(?). However Belvedere does stop at 466.

There is one next to Colony Rec Center sports pool and the other goes

466A has a tunnel that takes you under it over to the side where new golf course is being constructed and then you go back to the other side by tunnel at Colony Cottage Rec Center.

Using the Sumter Co. Appraisers site http://sumterpa.com/ and use their GIS map, you can clearly see the tunnel immediately to the right of the Colony Rec Center's pool. You'll need to enter a Sumter County address then find the Rec Center area -or- you'll need to use the full county map, then find it by zooming in! http://freesmileyface.net/smiley/thi...rching-019.gif

Go to: http://www.golfthevillages.com/executive-golf/index.asp and scroll down. On the roight hand side, you will see where you can download this map to a PDF file and then print it out.

Helen I got it from where logdog pointed you to. You will have to copy the link and paste it in your browser. The pro shops also have copies of the maps.

Seriously, I've had the picture for several year and I don't think it's a scarf being worn. I think it's a knit hat and sweater!
