Looking for someone to pull weeds from our stone bed around the house

We are not capable to do this anymore. Would like an estimate.

I have given up trying to find this service, so I found a good weed killer with a long battery powered spray pump. This works great takes about 10 to 15 minutes to control the weeds.

Same here. Just easier to spot treat with Roundup or similar for non-lawn weeds. I do sprinkle Preen between edges though every few months to help prevent new weeds from popping up. It's not perfect but it helps.

We have decorative plants in amongst our stone garden and while I can rip the grass out between the plants, the grass has taken over a few of the plants themselves. Short of ripping out the original plants, killing everything, letting the soil recover and planting new plants, I don't have much hope. I wonder if that's the kind of issue the original poster is having.

Have you found, or heard that weed killer being sold to the public like from Lowe's or Home Depot are getting weaker every year?

I use one brand for one type of weed killer, I'd swear it was fertilizer.

There was a similar thread about 2 weeks ago. Get a weed torch. If you can walk half a mile, you can burn your own weeds.

My concern is the sprays can hurt the good plants in the plant beds. I could not find a lawn service that pulls weeds either.

1/2 gal of vinegar, teaspoon of salt, a dash or two of Dawn soap.

The product is spectraside, and I do not recall if I purchased this from ACE or Lowes. The handle has a battery powered sprayer and as I recall the spray can be adjusted from wide to narrow. This product kills both grass and weeds, so be careful where you use it.

I have the same sprayer. Bought it at Lowes.

Glycophosphate ("Roundup") is pretty safe as long as you just spray it on the green growth you want to get rid of. Beware of the "extended control" versions that contain dicambra. It can build up in the soil and choke out your trees and shrubbery if you use too much of it. Found that out the hard way. Thankfully, my hedges and shrubs recovered after a couple of seasons.
