Doctors accepting Medicare
 

I currently have Medicare Advantage and will be switching to Medicare Gap later this year. Does anyone have a doctor that they would recommend? Or are there ones to veer from? Thank you

Medicare Advantage comes with restrictions on Docs your plan will cover. They vary with every Advantage plan and county.
Traditional Medicare and Medigap plans with a letter designation like “ I have plan F” are accepted by almost all the Docs offices in the villages.
The only major exception is Villages Health.

Just because a doctor accepts a medical plan today does not mean that will not change over time.

The Dr who was recommended to us when we moved here made us switch from ppo to an hmo.

Two weeks ago we were advised to keep her we needed to have a ppo.

We used Central Florida Medical Care, they are in Leesburg on route 27 just south of lake Harris, about 25 minute drive from Brownwood area, very good care, but many people will not like the drive, no idea of closer doctors.
