Golf Cart Rescue

Can anyone help with choosing a GC towing Company?
I have two three carts if that makes any difference.

We have signed up with 24 Hr Cart Club which started as a free year with one of our carts. We *had* American Golf Cart Association for a year after buying our second cart. We have used neither so I can't speak to the quality of their service. 24Hr cart has a lower price and promises more service so that is who we chose to stick with.

You will probably need to discuss the coverage of multiple carts with the suppliers, I would expect a slight discount for additional carts but not much.

I wonder if a golf cart towing business would be a good sideline?

No services other than towing, daylight service only, tow from location of breakdown to your home or repair facility. Very reasonable price.

Village Kart Aide

I use Village Kart Aid. 352 409 5853. I've only had to call them once for a flat tire. They arrived in about the same amount of time that it takes AAA to arrive for a car problem. Depends on how far away the nearest rescue guy is from you. Everything went fine, I am keeping them.

We have had Kart Aid for 10 years and used them twice for flats. They arrived quickly (30 minutes) and dealt with the issues; plugged the tire in one case and put on one of their spares in another case.

Another vote for Kart Aid.

Maybe the guy towing one behind the other with a chain yesterday thought the same thing? BTW, they do work in the dark as I’ve seen them towing from the square at night in March.

We have American Golf Cart Association Home

Came with a one year subscription when we purchased the cart. Used them once to tow cart to repair shop from home.

Very good service so we renew with them. They do have different options, specially for múltiple carts in one account.

We used 24-7 Kart Aide LAST NIGHT. Our cart died on the way home from LSL (good grief!). Called them at 9:30 pm. Tow arrived in 20 minutes and had us and our cart home by 10pm. Very impressed. Will definitely be keeping them.

If you have AAA, they will pick up your golf cart, not just your car. Why pay for another service?

asianthree 07-30-2024 06:46 AM

We have AAA, last week someone misplaced their cart keys at the course. AAA (guessing wasn’t busy) came within 43 minutes. Since we already pay AAA see no reason to have another company.
We did call one of the cart companies on a Friday Holiday weekend. No return call until Tuesday, so if you were in immediate need, I would check to make sure cart company is 24/7.

biker1 07-30-2024 06:54 AM

Will AAA plug a flat and do they carry spare golf cart tires in the event of an unpluggable flat? In many cases, you don’t need your cart picked up.

Can’t beat KartAide, $79.95 for our two golf carts for one year. When I needed them, they were very prompt and accommodating.
