Used refrigerator

I searched for used appliances or scratch n dent but not many places popped up. Anyone have a suggestion for a garage fridge?

Thanks for all the help, we are moving soon and can't wait.

I believe both Lowe's and Home Depot have scratch and dent, but you probably need to go to the store and ask. Also, I have seen these at Appliance Direct, which I think had tags on these.

Hopefully your garage is cooled as im not sure I would place one in a 100+ degree garage during the summer as summer here makes a garage mighty hot, imo.

Look at Appliance Direct in Fruitland Park. They usually have a section in their store for scratch and dents and returns.

Costco used to sell freezer and refrigerator for garage use. Then again sometimes garage space is hard to give up for a fridge

We bought the cheapest Frigidaire refrigerator that Lowes sold about 10 years ago for the garage. It is still in service today after moving to our 2nd TV house. In both houses we had A/C outlets installed just for fridge and we had water plumbed for the ice maker. We have been in our current house for about 5 years - no problem with fridge or with ice maker. We installed on an inside wall, because it was easier to run the electric and the water (tapped in to water line that runs into hot water tank).

We have had a refrigerator or freezer in our garage for all our 40 years in Florida (from the panhandle to Naples and in between). We have never had a problem. After many years of good service, if they die we buy another cheap fridge. I think we are on our 3rd fridge. I think we moved the inside fridge out to the garage in one house and bought a new kitchen fridge.

Buy the fridge and find a good spot in the garage that gives easy access (we are in our garage fridge multiple times daily), but leave room for car, golf cart, yard tools, work bench, etc. We could not live without our garage fridge. A thought - we have flipped the door left to right open or right to left open when it made access easier.

We also bought a basic refrigerator on sale at Lowe’s for our garage several years ago. It has performed great despite the heat. With a little searching, you should be able to find a basic model on sale somewhere in our area. I would be leery of buying a used refrigerator since the history could be murky. Besides, if you buy from a retailer, they will usually give you free delivery.

Four years now on an inexpensive LG purchased at Lowes. No special electric, no special cooling.

Appliance Direct is almost entirely scratch and dint. I got my garage Refrigerator there with just a couple of minor dints in the door at less than half the $ at Home Depot.

We bought from Johnathan’s Appliance Services in Wildwood. 352-568-5629. Small shop in garages behind his home. He delivers free. Very happy with him.
