WVLG access on Amazon Devices
 

Does anyone else access "The Villages Soundtrack" on their Amazon devices? Sometimes it seems to go out periodically and then return. Sometimes it does this several times in a 15 minute time period. I get the same results whether it is on a Dot, Echo, Show or Studio. I have also checked the WiFi connection and am not loosing it during these periods. When using a regular radio, I do not have this problem. I also do not have the problem when listening to regular Amazon music. Any thoughts?

Can you define "Amazon device"?

I get WVLG by going to the Villages Daily Sun website and clicking the WVLG icon. That works on any device capable of tying into the internet, assuming you have a speaker.

This does not happen to me, with an echo or alexa device.

We have a radio hooked up inside the house and it has several speakers. It’s cool to get it when I’m cooking or doing housework.

I do listen to it on Alexa devices. I say " Alexa, Start your Villages Soundtrack" and it works. I can't say I remember it cutting out specifically while on WVLG but I have had other things "drop" out occasionally. Sometimes it restarts, other times I just restart it myself with the command.
