The Dangers of Texting
 

The weekend of the Sumter Landing Craft Show I saw a Villages-age woman texting while walking through an alley to the parking lot and she walked into the underside of one of the outside staircases and I heard her head go CLUNK!!
She was in some pain and feeling for blood, but I think she probably just got a good sized knot on her head.

So when I saw this YouTube video I had to post it, as it's too funny not to share. The dangers of modern technology blocking out everything else.

That's a fountain at Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing, PA.

I thought it looked familiar. Shopped there for years and still do when visiting family.

I hope she doesn't text while she drives. I guess not for a while as I'm sure her cell phone is not working too well!!!!!!

Between 55 and 135?

I only mean that she looked like she could live here. She was not a texting teenager. It's sounded nicer than "senior citizen" or some other such description.

Used to live in Wyomissing - in fact very close to the Bershire Mall, a friend from there recently sent me the link to this same video.

Something smells a little in this story.

We can only hope more texters fall in something!
 

No bodily harm intended...just a good old fashioned embarassing moment to jar them out of their out of touch stupidity....for a few seconds anyway.
Cell phones and texting are a disease that affects the mental ability of the owner of the cell. They lose track of where they are...what they are doing...and whether it is bothersome to others or not. Totally inconsiderate...and unnecessary.
Especially those behind the wheel.
