Sports no longer at the Olympics.

What sport would you like brought back to the Olympics? Tug-of-war, cricket, hot air balloon racing, deep diving, chariot racing, jai alai, polo, motor boating, dog sled racing, etc.

Chariot racing was very big at the ancient Olympics but eventually removed. Probably because of the deaths of horses and people.

Live pigeon shooting (Paris, 1900 - they missed a trick not bringing it back this Games)

Well, now that they have break dancing as an Olympic event apparently being a sport is not required to be considered an Olympic event. One can only imagine what will be next?

They seem to be targeting very young people with many of these added sports.

They passed on bowling.

It’s all about $$$. Our generation is not the target market they are trying to attract. Pretty soon they will have video gaming as an Olympic event and spectators will be able to bet on the competition.

They will go with what’s popular and bring in money. After all that’s what’s it’s All about money and under table benefits for the committee.

Plein air painting? If we can have dancing then why not push the boundaries a little more?

I'm sure we will see pickleball in the future...

I see that break dancing has certain basic moves and the like. I will admit I know little of the sport.

Cricket will be an event if India is ever the host country.

At first, I thought, "Breaking, are you kidding?" Then I realized that breaking is not unlike figure skating and gymnastics. Requires strength, skill, and lots of practice. And if they have air rifle, why not breaking.
