photo software recommendations
Been purging photos. Anybody have a good program to recommend for finding and deleting duplicate photos? I saw one called Duplicate Photos Fixer Pro, but Malware flagged the link. There are a thousand photos, more or less, filling up my drives. Clicking on the duplicates to delete one at a time is mind numbing.

I use alldup which isn't specifically for photos but works for any duplicate files.

CCleaner has a duplicate file finder tool.

Duplicate finder
Thanks, so far. I'm playing around with both of the programs but still looking for an easy way out. For example, directing the search to just find duplicate .jpg files. Having fun, I must say.

If you are using windows, you should be able to use file finder, in the search area, use *.jpg, then you should see a list of all the jpg files in order, so duplicates will be next to each other.

Are they on your PC or on your mobile devices?
I use two different programs to keep my collections clean. The scanning time varies on multiple factors, but on average I scan once a month and it takes 20 mins or so to scan about 1.6 million photos. |

Image duplicate software scans the actual image to see if it’s a duplicate of another in the same scan batch. |

That would be about 64 photos for every day I have been alive! |
