Anyone know what happened today on Canal Street?

Mike and I were returning from playing golf at Truman this morning around 11:15 and we saw a number of people standing on the side of the road, cars stopped and a golf cart also stopped. There on the ground was a person, couldn't tell if a man or a woman, covered against the cold with a blanket of some sort. The fire truck and ambulance were arriving just as we passed them. Strangely, the seat bottom of the golf cart was also on the ground, not far from whomever was on the grass. Hope all turned out okay and no one was seriously hurt.

From your discription it sounds like an accident.

I'm sure it was, Bogie, and it must have happened only minutes before we got to it. I do hope all involved are okay. So glad someone had a blanket to cover the person who seemed to be impacted, it was chilly out there.
