House painting
 

We are in the process of getting estimates to have our house painted. We are interested in hearing from anyone who has had recent experience with the companies listed below. All the reviews I could find on this forum were years old. Thank you!

2 neighbors had Kling do their houses within the last 2 years and both look great.

The most important steps prior to painting is filling any and all stucco cracks and power washing without damaging the stucco, and letting the stucco dry.

Best painting time of year is when the weather is cool and drier, late winter early spring is the best

Get quotes from them. Let the quote be your guide. Oscar's quote was about half of one of the other on your list for my house using the same paint. You control the paint you want. Seems to me that blistering and chipping is not the big issue here. Fading, stains from irrigation water and mold seem to be the bigger issues in my opinion. We have hardi-board siding.

I and some of my neighbor's used Steve Kling. Excellent. Besides the excellent workmanship, you get the warranty from Sherwin Williams where after the job is done, before you pay for the job, a representative from Sherwin Williams comes out and inspects. Once done they give you a 15 year warranty on the paint, not the application. This is valuable because you know the job was done according to SW's specifications and if there is ever a problem, you are registered and covered. I highly recommend them and their prices are competitive.

Steve Kling Painting did a wonderful job on our home a few years ago. They use quality products and were very neat. Our home still looks like it was just painted.

We used Oscar's to repaint the interior when we firts bought, back in 2021.

We were very pleased with the results.

Used Steve Kling to do the interior and exterior of our home, along with epoxying the garage floor. We were very satisfied with all the work.

Kling just painted our inside and some outside work. They are probably the most expensive but they do first class job.
