24 Hour Pharmacy
 

Had an issue at 6pm tonight (Sunday) needing to get a prescription ASAP, but could not find a 24 hour or pharmacy open late. Any one know of a 24 hour, or extended hour pharmacy, in the immediate area?

Used to be Walgreens on 441 near Dunkin/ Hospital

Maybe it used to be, but not now.

According to Google Maps, The pharmacy closes at 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Open until 10 PM on other days.

Do any of the hospitals around here have a late night pharmacy?

I could be wrong, but I don't think the hospitals even have a retail pharmacy.

Several stores close at 11, but the pharmacys are not open late, including Walgreens Bella Cruz Store. The Pharmacy in Apopka is the closest I found open 24 hours. Hard to believe with the concentrated aging population in The Villages area we don’t have a 24 hour pharmacy here or nearby.

Are you referring to the Walgreen pharmacies or the Walgreen stores? They have different hours. I cannot find any Walgreen pharmacies that are open until 11 PM.

Did you forget to renew script early or were you discharged from an ER or Urgentcare. If the script was that important and couldn’t wait till morning you should have been admitted for care.

At one time I think the CVS on 466 near CR101 was open 24 hours a day but this was 2 or 3 years ago, no idea if they are still open extended hours.

They are not. They are open until 8 pm Monday thru Friday, 7 PM on Saturday, and 6 PM on Sunday.
