Breaded Tenderloin

Since I am from Indiana perhaps my favorite sandwich is the Breaded Tenderloin. Today I had a good one at Harbor Hills Country Club in the grill downstairs. The grill at Harbor Hills closes at 3:00 PM so don't go there for dinner. Also they include the tip on the bill.

If you know of other places in the area that serve a good breaded tenderloin let me know.

Below is a link to good places that serve a good breaded tenderloin and explain what a breaded tenderloin is.

We are originally from Indiana. We always look forward to getting breaded tenderloin sandwiches, when we go home. I think they are pretty much a midwestern thing.

I also love breaded tenderloins sandwiches! And I am from Indiana. We are coming down on the 27th and looking at courtyard villas and patio homes. Will try to find these sandwiches , thank you.:cold:

Doesn't the restaurant "From Soup To Nuts" on 441 in Eustis (next to Joann fabrics) advertise them as one of their special menu items?

I know how good it is because we lived there and our youngest was born in Indianapolis and that sandwich is a winner....(so is she, by the way;).)

Also the Louisville "Hot Brown" sandwich is yummy too!

Grew up in KY - just a little south of Louisville - and yes, the "Hot Brown" is delicious! :icon_hungry: Didn't mean to hi-jack this thread, but nostalgia just got to me...a little homesick, I guess.

There was a guy who came to the auctions at Turkey Creek Auctions in Citra that was from Ind. and he sold those sandwichs out of a lunch trailer. Not sure if he still comes to the auctions.

We had a breaded tenderloin at the Arts and Craft Fair a week ago @ LSL. They were hand battered but a little too thin to capture the true flavor of such a treat. We are also from Indiana (Ft. Wayne, Berne, Huntingon) and they have some of the best tenderloins back in Indiana. But I don't wanna go back there. I'll just make my own if I get craving it too much.

The tenderloins at Harbor Hills Grill are the thick ones which I also prefer over the thin ones. Also while there be sure and catch the view off their deck overnlooking Lake Griffin. You can see for a few miles across the lake from up on the hill where the club house is. The combination of the view and the tenderloin make the trip worthwhile.
