Any pest / lawn treatment companies who send electronic reports?
We currently have Bates who does our pest service and lawn treatment (pest / lawn fertilizer) service.
We are never around when they come, and often we have no idea why there were there or what they did. Despite multiple phone calls to their main phone number no technician ever calls us back or texts us regarding what they applied or what we need to do. Are there any services like Bates that service the Villages that will email or text a report describing what they have done? We never know if we're supposed to water after Bates has been there, etc. Thanks in advance. |
We use Dean’s. The tech sends out an email invoice /report every time he treats. The report is pretty boilerplate. It lists what he did. Fertilizer, p st control, fungicide, etc. It does instruct to water in within 24 hours.
What’s nice is if you have an issue between treatments they will come out at no additional charge and address it. |

We use Greensmiths and get a report after each treatment. Plus, they respond to emails and phone calls :)

There is no way I would ever do business with a company that doesn't return phone calls. What are you thinking??? |
FertiGator always sends reports and does a good job.

We've retained their services for going on three years now: not the cheapest game in town but very reliable. I like the fact that if I ask the tech a question (in person or phone) I get a knowledgeable answer in return. |
Arrow sends electronic reports. Never had a problem with them.

Thanks for all of the responses so far
I had not heard of Arrow and Greensmith's. Keep the suggestions coming. I will definitely be doing some benchmarking soon and will be changing suppliers.
Thanks again. |

I thought of another question - How often do you pay for these services?
When I start my benchmarking I am going to ask about their pricing. I know some of these “push” pay-in-advance for a year.
Are there companies who bill for each service, or do most of them require a yearly “contract”? Thanks again. |
