Move furnace to garage

Can anyone give me suggestions on contractor or business that will move our existing
furnace from laundry room to garage and then build a pantry where furnace had been?

Wow. You can call Munn's or another HVAC contractor. But, when you get the quote, I think you will change your mind about doing it.

If I didn’t have air handler, hot water heater, washer dryer, and half kitchen in garage I would actually have 1 1/2 car garage.

You may want to call the county building department first and see if this is feasible.

The previous owner did that at my house and I might move it all back into the laundry room/hallway.

Takes up too much space in the garage.

Wondering how much efficiency would be lost by putting your home cooling and dehumidifying system in a hot and humid garage? I’m guessing there is a very good reason I’ve never seen that setup?

Probably half of the homes or more in The Villages have the furnace and AC systems in the Garage.

Since the air being treated for the most part is coming from inside the house in both cases, I would think the systems handle it well.

I would start with the original installer that put it in. Let us know on your 4th post the cost you get as I am sure we would all want to know the estimate.

None. it’s all about space. Most don’t have space to go inside house around here.
