Entertainment at the Rec Centres
 

Hello all - Recently, I have noticed that Seabreeze is holding an 80s dance evening and Eisenhower a Brits music evening - but I just stumbled on these two events by chance. I can't seem to find a calendar or details of evening events at Rec Centres - any ideas please, as I don't want to miss anything..... Thanks (I even went onto the Seabreeze Rec website and still no mention of the dance evening???

What are the dates/times for those two event? Is it possible they are being hosted by a particular club and are listed on the calendar that way?

Pretty sure those are all hosted by clubs, not the rec center itself. What you can do is call the rec center (or stop in when they're open) and ask them directly for the name of the club that's hosting it. Often, these clubs have facebook pages. If they do, you can follow their page and keep up to date with all the events of the club(s) of your choice. In addition if you love what they do, you can join the club (most of them are dirt-cheap - $10 for a whole year or similar), and get on their mailing list so they can inform you whenever they have events coming up.

When is the Brits music event (I found if you have a date the people at the rec center desk can find it easier)? I haven't seen anything about it (so, could be a club event). Thanks.
