The scam involves calls from someone — sometimes automated — claiming to be a deputy from the sheriff’s office. The scammer informs victims they have warrant for their arrest due to missed jury duty or missed court dates.

Thats an old old scam. No cop makes phone calls with a warrant. That’s common sense. And you would know right off if you missed a court date or jury duty. No one should get trapped into this scam. It’s the most ridiculous one around
