Poly Patio Furniture, Where To Buy Today?

We’ve closed and are enjoying the new house in Shady Brook. Looking to buy a simple patio set of 4 chairs and a round table. Pollywood type
Is there any store in the area that stocks them for quick pick up?

villagetinker 09-15-2024 02:26 PM

Try calling Perfect Porch to see if they have that type. Next I would try calling the manufacturer to see if they have a local distributor. The last suggestion will be to use Google maps and search for porch furniture and then start calling to see if any of the stores have what you want. There is an Amish Furniture store on 301 in Wildwood that I know has outdoor furniture, no idea if they have this specific type.

We bought several composite poly chairs and end tables for our pool/birdcage on Amazon from a company called Stoog. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the furniture for the price we paid (a fraction of the name brand poly wood stuff). There is assembly required, but it wasn’t very difficult and well worth the effort. The furniture is made from 100% composite material and all the hardware is stainless steel. The furniture should last our lifetime and is fairly heavy, so it shouldn’t blow around in heavy winds.

Nice quality, but at about $420, vs $120, for essentially the exact same chair, I’ll stick with the Stoog brand from Amazon. Delivered to our door for free and it took about 15 minutes to assemble the first one, then only about 5 minutes each for the others.

Stoog = limited options. A few rocking chairs and end tables. I see no patio setups on their website.

Almost any Toole's Ace hardware (all over Orlando area, including Clermont) carries some polywood brand furniture. The authorized Polywood dealer that is closest and best selection appears to be, according to the Polywood website:

We bought ours at the Amish furniture store next to Ace Hardware in Wildwood on 301. We shopped around and they had a great price, included delivery and set up, lots to choose from... styles and colors.

Who knew the Amish worked in composite materials....

True, but fortunately for us their outdoor all weather patio chairs were exactly what we were looking for to replace the rusted out patio chairs we got at Lowel’s.

We bought quite a bit of Polywood furniture from Premium Outdoor Products, 1265 Commons Court, Clermont, Florida 3471, 407-395-9144 Premium Outdoor Products They were great to work with. They delivered and assembled. Highly recommend them. We also bought additional pieces from Costco, but the selection was not nearly as expansive.

Palm Casual quality and service has gone way down since my original set was bought in 2012.
I ordered a replacement set in 2023 and it took over a year to finally get all the pieces correct.
Every time they sent product out some had to go back to be replaced due to quality issues.
Their new stuff is really no better than Sam’s Club, Costco or Amazon as family members went that direction.
A few of their sales people said they keep changing manufacturers even though they say they are the manufacturer.
My first set cost over 12k plus an additional 3k for the fire table.
Same with the second set which I downgraded 1 level. Smaller and retail store quality.
The Amish store on 301 near the post office is great. I bought four Aruba color glider Adirondack chairs guessing around 2015. These look as new as day one.
