Tracy Performing Arts Center (RIP OFF)

So, I purchased (4) tickets for The Classic Albums Live concert on November 23 at the Tracy for $95 each. Now the Tracy is giving tickets away for free to this show and many others?? This is a slap in the face to all of us who have frequented all the Village venues for shows and concerts. The other venues have always allowed you to return your tickets for a small administrative fee, and receive a credit toward a future event. The Tracy does not? If this is the Village’s way of promoting their new Art center they surely missed the mark!!

Don’t really think ‘they’ care. The ‘Tracy’ is part of the Charter HS. For all intent and purpose, it’s for the kids. Anything over and above that....as they say....is gravy!

Not sure where you found this out. But no free tickets to shows here. Give us a break!

They should say "unwilling" not "unable".

Using "unable" is one example of a classic "hands tied" conflict strategy. It is used to make it useless to argue with the representative. Other variations, "company policy", etc.

So, grammatically, you are correct. Strategically, they know what they are doing.

Another one I hate is "thank you for your patience". How can they thank me for something I don't have?

How about just being honest? The representative should say, "We can give you a refund, but we won't because we don't want to. We want to keep your money." Personally, I would rather they say that.
