Ride to airport
 

Does anyone now someone in the Villages that would drive me and my wife to the Orlando airport using my vehicle...Please reply

Wag, We've used "Bob The Builder" a couple of times to either pick us up or drop us off. $40 using our car and nice to know that he'll be there on time with a pleasant smile and give us a safe ride with excellent service. Of course we've also used him for a zillion house projects in the past and couldn't ask for a more reasonable and responsible person.:bowdown: Hope this helps with your search.

If I could find a less expensive way to get from Orlando Airport to The Villages, I'd consider flying down more often. The flight both ways costs approx. $200 which is okay. But to lay out another $80 for transportation ($35 each way plus $5 tip) from airport is the deal breaker.

Tom, one way to cure that is just come & stay. You could get on David's schedule and ride with him...he flies in every 3 weeks.

Hmmmm. That's a thought I should consider.

I use redwitch to do that when I leave a car there.

What or who is redwitch. I am also looking for reliable transportation to the airport. Has anyone left their car at the airport for a week?

Some think that renting a car is less expensive than paying per-person on the shuttle. Then you can turn the car in at LSL and probably get a ride to your home or the rental office will pick it up at your home. Not sure about that, but worth looking into.
