Today 11/2. Palmer -- Riley to Laurel -- Wonderful Shape.

Played Palmer today Riley to Laurel ..... tee to green its in wonderful shape. Bunkers were well groomed and fairway and rough cut as expected.

Greens are healthy and today were plenty fast .... some very tough pin placements.

No restrictions.....

Enjoy !

At least you weren't the group ahead of us on Laurel to Riley----they were putting on 7 while the group ahead of them was leaving 9th green and by the time they reached the 14th green the group ahead must have been finished. They were more interested in having a group conversation on every hole than playing golf. Their skill level was approx. that of the forward tees on an exec or perhaps a pitch and putt. But from the "ambassador"---crickets (18 minutes and 4 holes behind by the finish)

PS: Yes the conditions were among the best I've seen at Palmer in 10 years.

Is Cherry Hill open yet? Just curious as to how it came out.

The Greens on Laurel & Riley were good? There was a disease that crept in last year, it would be nice if they figured out how to get rid of it.

Cherry Hill is still closed; I think Helene and Milton might have set their schedule back a bit. I saw Mark Verkey when I signed in but forgot to ask him. Greens were pretty good but the usual Villages slow----running maybe 8.5-9 but in good shape (for now, we all know what will eventual happen) The start of it was the damage to just about every cup---the "golfer" ahead of us was sticking her suction cup in with the pin still in to retrieve her ball---I think we all know what happens then.

If I played Palmer 6 times in a week, I'd see Mark at least 4-5 of those times.

At the other courses? I have never seen one of the Pros, unless I specifically asked to see him about something.

We need more Mark Verkeys and fewer ____________.

Thanks for the report.

The course is in very wonderful shape indeed. We did notice the alligators are a little closer to the fairway due to the high water line. 🫨
