I am hoping to move down there this year . I will be looking for a good hart doctor because I need my pace maker check every three moth. Can any body help:wave:

Both Mr.Mac9 and I see Dr.Upadya of Citrus Cardiology in Lake Sumter Landing. We are pleased with him.

I have a Boston Scientific pase maker do they check that type or do the do all kinds.Thank you for you input:wave:

I go to FL. Heart & Vascular Center, 352-750-5000, Dr David C. Lew. There are several other very good Dr's there also. Dr. Lew also teaches at Shands Medical Center in Gainsville, FL. which is associated with U of Fl medical school. There is also Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, a part of the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. We are blessed to have very good medical resources available to us

Perhaps check with Munroe Heart on 441. I personally don't know anything re: them BUT from what I've heard they have a hospital in Ocala that's supposed to be highly rated.

I use Dr. James London in Ocala (not for a pacemaker check) but you may want to call his office to find out what services he provides - Ph 352-237-4581. Very good cardiologist IMHO.

Just had my pacemaker checked today by Florida Cardiovascular Specialist. Dr. Hector Garcia is the principal behind this practice and was with Fl. Heart & Vascular before. I have been his patient for 10 years and can't say enough good about him.
