Noticed those still open here in the Villages.

Hooters can't come fast enough. They will have Sunday Ticket and open til 11:00 PM.
I think they are all owned by the same person. The two others are probably at risk as well.

I have met a family member of one of the Beef O' Brady's owners. She would sometimes take my mom there for lunch. She was a health care worker then. Not my mother but the caretaker. Smart caring lady who was a big help with my Mom. Even when my Mom started yelling she was being kidnapped when the caregiver had taken her to a local Walmart. She handled the incident with poise and class even with the retired cop who followed them out to see what was up.

We really miss the Beef's by our house. Good food and decent drink prices. Nice small restaurant bar. Tried The Tap House, pretty pricey to watch a football game in my opinion but alot people enjoy it.

My wife and I tried the Tap House where we both had their fish and chips. The fish slice was around 1/4" thick and hiding in the crunchy beer batter coating. It wasn't long before my plate was covered in grease (and I mean "very" greasy). The fries had an unusual taste and were mushy. The cost with tip was $48.56.

Did we complain to the management? No, we simply ate and left. Perhaps we'll go back and have something else, but I do miss O'Brady's where I didn't need to take out a loan to get a cheeseburger. One thing in the Tap House favor is they had numerous servers and we didn't have to wait for one to take our order. Right now I believe this place is a novelty. Will it survive, well that remains to be seen. The restaurant business is always a gamble.

Two of us went there November the 17th 2024, this was our third visit the first two visits were not good. My girlfriend keeps asking to go there because she has a fmk loyalty card. Which I believe they are discontinuing, that will be nice because then my girlfriend will not ask me to go here again.
This visit was no better, long wait for food, very noisy atmosphere, the pot stickers were horrible doughy little things, the french fries were greasy, and the fish pitaco was average at best.
I miss Beef O'brady's.

Tap House, 5 tiny wings $11, flatbread the size of 1 piece of Gios pizza $12, caesar with salmon, miller $5, glass of wine $12, $80 with tip, OMG. Never again.

Beefs hot wings are excellent. I bet they could make money in TV south of the turnpike if they brought back Sunday Ticket and were open til at least 10:00 PM. It would compete well with Boosters, (IMO - since it is not my investment at risk :)).

I did see today that the Southern Trace Beef O' Brady's is boarded up with no signage.

Beef O' Brady's.

Beef's in Southern Trace been there almost 20 years. The one in Mulberry Plaza is corporate owned. So says The Villages Gourmet Club.

Beefs at Mulberry is excellent. Good food and pizza with a lot of large flat screen TV’s.

This location has been closed since the end of August. The Beef’s in Colony Plaza is owned by the same group. The employees from Southern Trace were given the opportunity to transfer to the Colony Plaza location.
