Columbo.

Been watching some of the episodes of the First Season. Still very entertaining.

Watched a few episodes during covid, enjoyed them but thought they were too long.

We watch Elsbeth from time to time and she reminds me of him.

One of my all time favorite shows. :)

Next stop Gunsmoke!

I agree. I think Elsbeth is trying to copy Columbo, but Columbo was way better.

Two quirky guys: Columbo and Monk. I liked Monk a lot better.

FYI, Monk had a medical condition called obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). By obsessing on details and small things, he was able to solve crimes better than an average detective. Columbo was just very smart.

I have seen all the Monk episodes. Unfamiliar with a lot of the Columbo ones. I did see a lot of the special yearly Columbos.

I'll see your Columbo and raise you a Harry O., Cannon, Longstreet, and Banacek. So many great (and odd) detective shows in the 70s. The hits (and misses) just kept coming. All good clean fun though!

Think about how great a show must be to reveal whodunit in the first few minutes, yet you still watch to the end to see how he figured it out.

Yep! Watched every episode of Columbo, and Gunsmoke (love it from my childhood) except the very early ones. Didn’t know where to get them. These shows comforted me when my spouse suddenly died. And I watched them from when I woke up till I dropped off to sleep. Day after day after day, until I slowly came back to life. Now it’s more Netflix and TikTok (learning how to moon dance - when nobody is watching).

I've been watching Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, it's on PBS. Set in the late 1920's and in Melbourne Australia. Really enjoy it.

Columbo is my favorite ….know every episode. Lately loving Midsommer Murders. British crime series.
