Done with wax bowl seals

Don’t have to worry about wax ring falling off or misalignment.

Rubber seal can use over, don’t have worry about misalignment no mess to clean up. Ease installation can be used above floor and even with floor without foam spacer. If below floor level use spacer or spacers I’d more than 3/4 inch.

I will never use wax ring again, but I don’t have too many toilet installations left in me.

Putting bees out of work. Guess we'll all be replaced eventually. The good old days are gone.

yes, we did away with ours last time we had a leak.
couldn't get a good seal without some foam flashing

They sell that identical unit at Home Depot. I used it for the last couple of toilets I installed and it worked well.

Whenever I set a toilet in the wax ring I have always had a doubt whether it was actually set correctly, and if it would leak in the future. These newer foam rings are great. Even if you had to reset one, you wouldn't need to replace it. I'll never use a wax ring again.

Replaced the other toilet today with Fluidmaster 7530 rubber seal. Easy no mess to clean, popped old toilet base off set New one, installed top tank done in 45 mins. Top tank now gone.

I wanted a rubber seal installed when I had my toilet bowl replaced, and the plumber advised against it. He said the wax is better (obviously when installed properly) as it will not get corroded by bowl cleansers, etc. I was doubtful, but I let him use wax anyway. I'm still doubtful, but hopefully I won't have issues later on.

If anyone needs standard American standard top tank with top lid I have one with new guts for free, got till Tuesday when it will be picked up. Private message me if interested.

I'm confused by your photos. I thought you were referring to the seal at the floor, not the seal between the tank and the bowl.

Top bowl tank and lid I don’t need, going to throw it away when I call for special pickup.

I like this cause you can reused it and no wax mess. Time will tell. When I took old toilet up they was no leakage and dry around drain.
