Dental nightguard?
my dentist recommended i wear a nightguard to prevent teeth grinding. When I purchased one today at Walmart, you microwave it then insert. Forgot it. No way I could even remove it from tray and when I finally did no way it sticks. Any recommendations for a name brand. This was a oral b one

I have the Oral B. If you mess up the fitting process there is a redo procedure so it’s not a one and done. I have had a couple different ones and the procedure for fitting is pretty much the same heating in water in the microwave. I’m sure the dentist had one for a few hundred that is a custom fit so it pays to not give up, LOL

Go On Amazon. Plackers brand.10 guards for $16.99 . Individually sealed and reuse up to 3 times. No micro or boiling necessary.

Dentek brand
My wife and I both use the DENTEK "Professional-Fit" model. Right now, it's about $18 on amazon, but there might be an additional coupon available. We did not have good luck with the DENTEK "Ultimate" model, which is more expensive, but we never got it to fit right.
My hygienist originally recommended it. They last a very long time and fit well. We used the boiling water method, not the microwave. Just followed the instructions closely and we had no problems. |

I would put it in my mouth, jump in a hot shower for 10 minutes and then go to a dentist and have one professionally fitted.

i’ve been wearing a night guard for 30 years. Spend the extra money and have it professionally done by your dentist. It cost a few hundred dollars, but it’s well worth it cause it’s custom fit. Mine goes on the bottom of my teeth, not the top and is so comfortable. I could wear it all day. I have tried all the other store brands and they aren’t half as comfortable as a custom one. You can thank me later.

DENTEK Professional-Fit Amazon.com I get mine at Walmart or Amazon every few months. I use the boing water method rather than the microwave. I've been usi ng this brand for 25 years. other brand fall out of your mouth at night- this one doesn't due to the tray they use to fit it.
