Atlas Rims

Has anyone changer there Atlas cart 14 inch rims to 10 inch rims and tires? I’m thinking the ride would be much better.

It is more than likely the tires you have, not the rims. Are your tires low profile and Bias radials? try a steel-belted comfort ride tire. Drop down to a 12-inch rim if needed with a comfort ride tire. I used golf cart tire at Golf Cart Wheels and Tires | Golf Cart Tire Supply

Thank you for the reply but I already have the 10 inch rims and tires.

The only issue you might run into is that the calipers for the disc brakes may not fit inside the 10" rims - that is an issue on other carts that come with 14" wheels. The calipers fit inside 12" rims, but spacers are required for 10".

Spacers are bad for your cart for a number of reasons, the first being that it tremendously increases the lateral load on the wheel bearings - far beyond the engineered specs.

From the owners manual: "Recommended tire pressure for front and rear is 20 PSI for Innova 23x10-14 tires". Setting tire pressure no more than 20 PSI will help with ride quality.

You might have fitment issues with 10 wheels.
