Shower remodel and kitchen backsplash
 

Hellow everyone! We have been here 2 weeks at our new home in Shady Brook and are looking for recommendations for contractors to do a shower remodel and new kitchen back splash. Any thoughts are appreciated. BTW, we have been here 2 weeks and love TV!

Stay away from Wildwood Kitchen and Bath.

We are in the middle of this right now. Work just started on hall bath this week. It will be moving to Kitchen and master bath after that. We are using Exquisite Designs in Belleview. The finished product remains to be seen, but we have been feeling good about the process to date.

Did a 4 year old backsplash match scavenging tile from somewhere in the US for the wall under the island overhang where shoe marks scuffed the textured wall. They did a great job without having to grind off the textured wall. They were the original tile contractors at our designer build in 2019

A family owned company that really cares about their quality of work and customers. Big selection of backsplashes. They do shower remodels and kitchen and bath remodels. IMHO nothing dates a house quicker than a backsplash. The last time I painted my kitchen I took down the backsplash, and decided to think about it for awhile before I installed a new one.
Three years later…I’m still thinking. I realized that if I’m mixing up something messy I do it over by the sink…which doesn’t have or need a backsplash.
I like the clean look of my painted wall.
I might install a backsplash someday. But I’ve realized that they are more of a decorative thing than a necessary item.
I do love the under cabinet lighting I installed.
