Why not Super Saturday?
It just seems it would make more sense to have the Super Bowl on a Saturday.

Yeah, I've been thinking that for years. Beyond college football season.

And more people would show up to work on Tuesday morn, and more productive when they get there (already spent a day yacking/be-ching about the game). |
Not from a revenue perspective for the Super Bowl city. Studies have shown that the majority of people attending will come in on Friday evening regardless of whether the SB is Saturday or Sunday, and will leave the day after the SB. By having it on Sunday, the entire city gets another day of revenue - hotels, restaurants, bars, etc.

The host city wants it on a Sunday because it helps their local economy with that extra day. Hotels, restaurants, bars, etc benefit greatly with that extra day.

Don't worry.
The NFL wouldn't make any changes unless you can prove they can make money doing it. How can one football game take all day to talk/broadcast/televise about it, then charge millions for commercials, and get people to spend billions to attend? |

If you have to go to work on Monday morning, and your life depends on your job, then one must decide what is more important! You can always watch it or tape the game. If over partying and staying up too late is more important than your job, then maybe your priorities are off! Showed up for 40 Monday’s and was ready to do my job!
