Smart lock for gate
 

I have a courtyard villa and would like to buy a smart lock for the gate. I want to be able to open it when I am not home.

If you have one, which one and do you like it?

You should research ones that are suitable for complete outdoor installation. Also, I am guessing you are looking for a deadbolt style. We have 2 electronic locks that have lasted several years BUT these are on doors that are sheltered, patio or garage. Florida weather can be very hard on electronics.

We also live in a courtyard villa. We have a weatherproof cable combination lock, purchased from Amazon. It is easy to set the combination and change it, if necessary. We do give the combination to our pest control company and landscaper so they can access the yard if we are not home.
