Streetlight outage (SECO or Duke)
Hi all,
I have a streetlight that is out/flickering on our street. I was able to find a nearby light on the Duke Energy website, but this pole doesn't seem to be on Duke nor on SECO....any clues as to how to report it? The SECO map and reporting is: IncidentWatch™ The Duke map and reporting is: Street & Area Light Repair Map - Duke Energy ps: there was a very old thread on this topic: https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...ht=streetlight |
I would report it to the company that collects your electric payments.
In addition, I would report it to Customer Service. Definitely if it is SECO, and possibly if it is Duke, the District you are in (VCCDD if you don't have a numbered CDD) pays quite a bit for the company to make sure those lights work. The District pays the bill so the District has an interest in knowing they don't work. |
You will need number on pole 5 or 6 digit number like 180246, rhey usually come out in day and street light won’t be flickering. I would imagine who ever you pay you electric bill to that would probably be who does light pole in that area?
