I have a grandson coming to stay with us for a week. He loves basketball pickup games and pickelball. Where should I take him?

Pickleball is everywhere. Just go to one and hope that a player is needed. For basketball - the over 55 players prefer NOT to play with younger players. They could get hurt.There may ????be an outdoor court where younger basketball players show up?
