using lexmark 2600 series printer/scanner/copier with acer netbook - lost icon from printer folder in control panel - cannot make it the default printer. files all still on computer.

any suggestion how to get icon back into printer folder so it can be default printer?

friend called this morning - icon "returned" and printer is operational! go figure!

Try "Add a printer" in Control Panel and see if Windows will re-install it for you.
