The Villages administration has announced the formation of the Department of Villages Efficiency or DOVE. This vital agency expects to examine many aspects of life in The Villages including the staffing of gate houses and the entry gates themselves, Villages golf course maintenance, outsiders using “our” parking spaces at downtown squares and other pressing concerns.
Possible administrative leaders are being considered including the construction managers for Portlllo’s and Harry and the Natives as well as the previous director of Villages golf maintenance.
What other problems would you hope to see addressed?

I hope this isn’t bogus! it’s a great idea! Agree that people without ID’s need to be managed out of amenities including pickleball and softball fields. I’d add that contracts for just about everything from electricity line poles to flowers be examined for economies and duplications.

Other than April fool I wouldn’t used Portillos, there is financial issues, delete construction manager, insert Chaper 9, or 11. May or may not be built, now.

Harry and the natives isn’t construction manager…. delete and replace with Permits Department.

As soon as he mentioned " Refund ", I knew it was an April fool joke....

Why not issue windshield stickers to prove villagers can park legitimately and issue fines for those who park in our spaces without?

Ha Ha! This would be great idea and maybe our amenity fees would go down, or at least not go up and services preserved. Like another governmental program, it’s all about preserving what homeowners (citizens ) deserve and need,
