Coffee Roasters in Florida

Good day to everyone. My wife and I enjoy great coffee. We use to get our coffee beans from Colorado, but they have since gone out of business. I would get coffee from Kona, but at $75 or so a pound a bit expensive. Does anyone know of any good coffee roasters in FL? I have done searches and found a few and will do a tour of Florida at some point to go check them out. I am not looking for coffee houses, but coffee roasters to get beans. Found a good roaster in AZ when we were there for BB spring training, but would prefer to support Florida businesses, if possible. Any coffee lovers out there with any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Huh? If their coffee was so great, why would they go out of business? Unless they were so overpriced they cut themselves out of the market.

"I know a guy."

He's in The Villages, roasts his own beans, and provides his coffee to a nearby Colombian restaurant. Shoot me a PM if you want his info.

I recently subscribed to Lineage coffee roasters out of Orlando. I have freshly roasted, organic coffee beans from different coffee growing regions delivered to my door every two weeks. A little pricey, but the quality of beans is superb. If you’re a coffee connoisseur, I would check out their website.

Thank you for the reply. BTW, a little guy has a harder time staying in business than a Folgers. He was a two person shop and the price of coffee beans probably put him out of business. They weren't over priced as I would have 5 lbs of coffee shipped from CO to FL for just a bit more than some crappy coffee from a can. He didn't get a bailout like some big companies do.

I had looked at the link you sent a few months ago and will do a tour in the fall.

I get organic sun dried Kona for $35 a pound shipped directly from Kona.
It’s our weekend coffee.
100% pure kona coffee from Kona Purple Mountain

For everyday coffee we use coffee bean direct. Around $10 per lb in 5lb bags.

Baby’s coffee in Key West is very good and they ship.
Baby's Coffee - Gourmet Coffee Roaster in Key West, Florida

Your other option is buy green beans and roast your own. I used to roast but with the new air tight packing it eliminates the stale coffee. But fresh roast is always best.

I found a Cafe in Leesburg named Coffee Snob, next to Ollies. Their coffee beans are organic and as their selection is small, the coffee is one of the BEST. You can purchase the beans or ground coffee and they have different levels of caffeine for your preference. May be worth the short drive over! ☕️Enjoy☕️

I get my beans from Home Goods, TJ Maxx or their new store next to Best Buy. 2.2 pounds for about $10-12 for some really good Italian coffee beans.

In Colorado, I used to get Vail Mountain Coffee… roasted at higher altitude and the theory goes, water boils at lower temps, thus roasting the beans at that temp makes a much less acidic coffee… I agree with that theory… They have free shipping on orders over $35.
