Are you given before and after photos to prove that the damage was done while you had the car?
Given that all of this information will be logged over the history of the car, will Hertz decrease the asking price of the care when they sell the car? I have always inspected cars before leaving the rental location and made sure that any damage was noted. It saved me a lot of trouble on a few occasions. |
Funny, when you get a car at the airport they don’t seem to care about condition of car pre rental but when you rent from a local branch they want to do a walk around. Never understood it.

Enterprize is picky too.

Perhaps Ackman sees this as a revenue stream. Charge enough minor cosmetic fees and the cost of vehicle drops dramatically. The question is will they take the car out of service to fix cosmetic damage.
Don’t leave the return area until you get the report. You lose your ability to dispute the damage on the spot. |
Sooon all will be doing this
Hertz the is cutting edge with profit taking. This should really boost profits for all of us who are stock holders.

I thought that’s why we buy the insurance when renting car? Guess I won’t be renting hellcat and taking to drag strip and burnout contests?
