NY Sports Fan Club had it's initial meeting!!!
 

The first meeting of the newly formed New York Sports Fan Club was held on January 24th at the Bridgeport Village Recreation Center.

The meeting was attended by fans of New York area teams; Yankees, Mets, Jets, Giants, Knicks, Nets, Rangers, Islanders, Devils, the old MLB N.Y Dodgers and NY Giants. We even had a Buffalo Bills fan attend.

This first meeting was an organizational meeting with discussions of plans, programs and of what members would like to do. As sports fans, discussion of our favorite sports moments and team experiences was an important part of the evening. Video clips of significant N.Y. sports moments were also shown.

The club will continue to meet monthly on the 4th Monday of each month. February’s meeting will be on Monday the 28th at 7P.M. in the Bridgeport Village Recreation Center.

All Villagers who are fans of New York area teams are welcome.
