I hope you've got room in your freezer to save him for Thanksgiving!

I've been here 7 months and about 6 weeks ago I'm opening the living room blinds and I see one of those in the street in front of my house with a squirrel hanging limp from it's beak.

The bird went on to shake it a couple more times but, he'd already killed it. The astonishing thing was he then plopped the squirrel in the middle of the street and proceeded to have lunch on it for the next 20+ minutes. My street is fairly busy and the cars and golf carts just went around each side of the bird and his meal the entire time.

Talk about wildlife in action.

Must have migrated, we frequently have them in Pennacamp, Fernadinia, Duval, Richmond. Very scrawny.compared to the plump wild turkeys up north

It could be their natural habitat, and perhaps the Developer chose to build on their turf, displacing them. Maybe they're just returning home.
